Stunning 1950s French Atomic Era Fabric (tx553)
An incredibly long, unused length of 1950s French fabric. This closely woven cotton has a super-iconic pattern of blocks of green, red, yellow and grey with intersecting sketchy black lines - it appears hand drawn and is a design which heralded the exciting and innovative changes in home decor in the early part of the decade. The fabric has a printed selvedge which reads; Marignan grand teint meuble.
A fantastic fabric - re-create an authentic 50s interior with this super design.
The fabric is approximately 127cm (50") wide by 7 metres long. The fabric is sold by the metre and there are currently 7 metres available - please enter your requirements in the box when purchasing - if ordering more than one metre the fabric will be sent as a continuous length. The fabric is in excellent, unused condition with some minor storage markings in the central vertical fold.
