Immaculate Paisley Eiderdown one of a pair (astb321)
This is a really beautiful paisley eiderdown in excellent condition - and we have a matching one on page 9 if you'd like a pair! It is covered in a pretty cotton cambric with exquisite paisleys in eyecatching shades of raspberry, pistachio, white and black with dainty little roses or raspberry flowers set against a subtle biscuit coloured background. The eiderdown is edged with a gathered frill in the same wonderful fabric and has attractive stitching. The same fabric adorns both sides of the eiderdown and it has an ample filling of feathers.
An exceptional vintage eiderdown in a classic and beautiful design.
The eiderdown measures approximately 44" by 65" excluding the frill. Condition is excellent with no wear, marks or repairs. This eiderdown may have been washed as it has an ever-so-slightly softer feel than the other, which is a little crisper to the touch. It may also be a smidgeon of a shade lighter due to washing - but this is almost indiscernable and not something that the camera could detect.
