Pair of Pretty Briar Rose Eiderdowns (astb356)
This is a wonderful find indeed; a pair of beautiful vintage eiderdowns. They are superbly pretty, covered in a cotton cambric with trailing clusters of briar roses and dainty daisies against a lattice-effect or 'quilt-stitch' pattern. They have a cream background and a delicate piped edge. The decorative stitching highlights the plumpness of these 1950s feather quilts.
Perfect for a guest room or double them up on extra-cold nights to stay nice and warm!
Each eiderdown is approximately 44" wide by 64" long. Both are in lovely condition; no holes or repairs. One side of each eiderdown is very slightly lighter than the other side, although this really is very minor and not too noticeable. One of the pair has a couple of very minor markings, again hard to spot in the pattern, and the other has two or three marks (an inch to two inches in size) which would fade or disappear when laundered. They are both nice and plump with no feather loss.
UK P&P: £ 12.50 for the pair
