A truly delightful study of pink and white roses which was painted in the Victorian era. It is painted on canvas and affixed to its wooden stretcher which is set into a gold gesso frame of the same era. The painted is signed by the artist Rina Bolton and is a wonderful scene of roses, in shades of deep pink through to ice white, laying upon a table. The detail in the roses is quite breathtaking and the dark background allows the supreme prettiness of the roses to stand out.

The frame is approximately 22.5" by 12". The frame has age-related wear. There is some loss of paint and cracking here and there.
